Industrial Qualification Program for the Nuclear Supply Chain

N/R – Nuclear Ready is the program developed by N/A Nuclear Advisory to support manufacturing, engineering, and service companies in their integration into the nuclear supply chain.
Designed as a gradual and measurable process, N/R helps organizations develop the competencies, processes, and safety culture required to meet international standards — ISO 19443, IAEA GSR Part 2, WANO, EURATOM, as well as Canadian CSA N299, CSA N286, and U.S. ASME NQA-1 — preparing them to collaborate with utilities, regulators, and prime contractors across the sector.

Although N/A is not a certification body, the program is built in close collaboration with accredited partners to facilitate access to nuclear qualification and certification pathways.

Program Structure

The pathway is divided into four main steps, each designed to guide the company through a structured and measurable progression:

Step 1 – Framing
Preliminary analysis of the company’s potential within the nuclear supply chain through meetings, training sessions, and exploratory interviews. This step defines the roadmap and strategic positioning.

Step 2 – Self Assessment & Assessment
A guided self-evaluation using modular checklists followed by a technical assessment conducted by the N/A team. A Final Report (REP) is issued, summarizing gaps, priorities, and recommended actions.

Step 3 – Guided Implementation
Closure of identified gaps and development of all required documentation — manuals, procedures, quality plans, training programs, and cyber security plans.

Step 4 – Qualification
Support during third-party audits, finalization of documentation, and issuance of the Nuclear Ready Recognition, certifying the organization’s nuclear readiness.
